I'm looking to purchase some M/T ET Streets or drags. I came across some used ET Streets 28*11.5*15 would these work with my setup. I have a 347 with a 5 speed 4.11 gears, Solid Cam specs I believe is duration 250 @ .050 lift around 600 and lobe sep is 110. I plan on spraying the motor also at the track. What brand and size would be my best bet.

First you need to measure and check your usable space.
I assume by your user name the car is a 66 something?
If it's a Mustang, you will be very limited as to what will fit in a stock wheel well.
MT ET streets are just that.

As Alex said, measure & measure again. Check different tire makes charts as to diameter & most important check section width. Different makes have different section widths even wirh same advertized size. Use wheel width with + or - 1 in. of tire tread width. If you are running on street, use a street tire, if you are gonna race use a race tire. If you must, mount race tires on wheels & change at track. Dont waste your hard earned money on used tires unless they are used for measuring purposes only. Oh did I mention measuring? Nothing like cutting the thin sidewall of a slick at speed.

28-11.5-15 et streets will not fit a '66 Mustang. I did fit 26-11.5-15s under my duaghter's '66 but had to limit the suspension's downward travel to an inch or so. ET streets are sized as truck tires, not like ET Drags which are actual tire dimensions. 11.5 ET streets are only 10" "slicks". They are terrible "street" tires, and half assed imitations of a real slick. In my opinion they are the best DOT drag tire, if you have to run in a street class that requires a DOT tire. One other thing is that they don't last very long, 40-50 passes is a long life. Good luck with the tires,

Ive had nothing but 28x11.50 ET streets and 28x9 ET drags on the back of my 65. no fender rolling or special rear axle and with a standard space 15x8 weld alumastar. It is a bit of a tight fit but good so far up to 129mph. A 15x7 will fit the tire much better and will fit when slightly lowered. This only applies to the MT 28x9/28x11.50 tires since they are smaller than other brands. my last four sets of 28x11.50 et street measured around 27.4-27.6 inches tall and all have had less than 9 inches of tread, almost the same for the et drags but they are usually a bit taller.

The trick is that the ET streets are sized as truck tires, the ET Drags are actual size.+-
