Is your Fairmont painted Pastel blue? One of my 70 Mach 1`s (428 CJ 4speed) was factory Pastel Blue (paint code N), and your Fairmont looks like the same color. I used to get tired of people calling my car white!hmmm, blue Fairmont sedan drag car, 70 Mach 1`s (one of mine was also Grabber green!)Are we related!? ------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA M/Stock 302 5speed. Pastel blue? I don't know the actual paint code and I don't have the vin info to verify. The guy that painted it said it was called robin egg blue. It was the original color. As he was about to repaint, he asked his wife to pick the color. She picked robin egg blue. I think it's butt ugly and I would never paint one this color on purpose, but hey.....it's a fun car. The moral of the story is, never let a woman pick you color. The Mach I is original Grabber green. I had it repainted back in '89 and it's still looks good today. If you want to be related, it fine with me, but my family is a little weird. Do you think you can handle it?------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 408C 4V, best time to date is 10.50 best MPH 127
