What size PV are you using?
Did you get an assortment of air bleeds with the kit?

The air bleeds that come in them are for carbs with a 4-corner idle setup. If the carb doesn't have four idle screws, you'll need to change the secondary idle air bleeds. These are the tiny little screw-in jets at the top of the carburetor barrels. The ones with the BIG holes are the idle bleeds.

However, this should not be a problem, as Proform now sends two sets of air bleeds with its main bodys. The replacements that come in the box are to be used on the back barrels of carbs that only have two idle screws.

edit... Oops, on first read, I thought your idle was messed up. Sorry.

Good Luck!

Look at the size of the idle air bleeds in the front barrels. These are the ones with the big holes. If your carb has idle screws on the secondaries, it will need the same size idle air bleeds there. If not, you'll need to install the bleeds with the little holes back there.

Good Luck!

It sounds like you have one of these main bodys if you do what do you think about them?it came with 2 little air bleed screws and on the package it reads only replace these air bleeds if your old carb. had them on the outside of your rear metering block. And my carb. did,nt so i left them in the package. If your carb has rear idle screws, use the bleeds with the larger holes. If not, don't.

The idle bleeds are the outer ones... and have the larger holes in them.

Good Luck!

When I ordered my proform main body I also ordered the secondary metering block with idle adjustment screws.Since I had an old 750 dp with the bellcrank secondary linkage a new base plate from Bill Mitchill fit the bill.So far so good.

As a rule, there is nothing with the name Pro Form on it that I would used.
Just an FYI.
