You plan on running this down the strip? How high are you planning on revving the motor?

With 26" tall slicks and an automatic, you'll need 4.56 gears and a loose converter to hit 6500 thru the traps at 100-105 mph.4.11 would be a good compromise street gear. Good luck, SteveW

Car only weighs about 2600 right? 3400 converter with 411 or 456 should be a high 11 piece. Ray, Time to install a roll cage and loosen up the converter. You do want to be quick, right? Have fun, SteveW

The upside to 4.11 gears is that they are the cheapest to buy for a 9 inch. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
