You plan on running this down the strip? How high are you planning on revving the motor?

With 26" tall slicks and an automatic, you'll need 4.56 gears and a loose converter to hit 6500 thru the traps at 100-105 mph.

4.11 would be a good compromise street gear. Good luck,

Car only weighs about 2600 right? 3400 converter with 411 or 456 should be a high 11 piece. Sounds like a fun car to drive

Ray,

Time to install a roll cage and loosen up the converter. You do want to be quick, right? Have fun,

The upside to 4.11 gears is that they are the cheapest to buy for a 9 inch.
