Yeah,They may be doing a story about women and their Hot Rods this spring. 10-20 women including a couple female mechanics. Any tips on dealing with them or their photographers? I know one thing, Melissa is going to be lady like. And, if that's not good enough, then they can leave her out of their story. SteveW

Don't let them get "cutsie" and ask Mel to do any provacative poses. Hot Rod has a nasty habit of wanting that type of layout when women are involved. It should be about the car and it's driver, not the chicks body and the car she just happens to be part of. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Ben,When the writer called she asked him how he found her. He said he was doing research on the web looking for fast Mustangs last year. When his current story line delevoped he "tracked" her down. LOL SteveW

Steve, Thats great for Melissa, not too shabby for her crew chief either. Just tell her to be herself and be truthful in the write up. Not to worry about being Politically Correct, they will manipulate the story anyway. This could open future doors if she wants to pursue that route. Just think she will be the next Ashley Force........Good luck, and Dad don't forget to clean her car up. Mike

We're back!It went very well. The look they were looking for was sexy, confident, and competitive. Kinda like "line it up right here, and I'll kick your a$$". All awesome shots and nothing sleezy. The photographer is mailing us the disc's but we can't share them until the article is published. SteveW

Tom, I think you're the last photographer to post Mel's pic on the web. It was three or more years ago when she was a HS racer at Sears Point. The Car was blue back then. If you still have a link, go ahead and share it. But, the HR photographer and make up crew did a "little" better job. LOL SteveW
