Alex,A friend of mine has a NOS, neverbolted down, Cobra Weber intake. It's the type that has dual water tubes at the front with matching waterneck. Both are Cobra lettered. He's considering selling it. Any idea what it's worth? Dan Jones

Only real ones had the dual water necks. Look on the bottom and verify the casting info. They were cast by two different companies for Shelby/FoMoCo. You can do it privately if you prefer Dan. March '64 or earlier date code casting is worth a lot! ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator

I got a hold of Mike and he said it was a reproduction comissioned by Gary Hall (of Hall Pantera) made in the 1980's. He also has a 350 Chevy Weber intake Hall made for the street rod crowd. Dan Jones

Mike also mentioned he has an original "Buddy Bar" Boss 302 Weber manifold. Any idea what that is worth? Dan Jones

Repops are still produced and aren't worth a great deal as you can buy a new one from several sources. The BB Boss casting should fetch $2k plus.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Yow! I had no idea they were worth that kind of money. Mike's unloading some parts to do an upgrade on his race Pantera. He'll be happy to hear what it's worth.Dan Jones

Dan -Which way do the carbs face on the 289 manifold? There are two versions - on one, the carbs face the same direction (fuel inlets would all be on driver's side), on the other, the carbs face opposite one another (fuel inlets facing outboard on both sides). The manifold with the carbs facing the same direction is for a Shelby Mustang; the one with the carbs facing opposite directions is for a Shelby Cobra (though either manifold can be made to work for either application with linkage revisions). regards, Jeff Burgy

The left and right hand sides are mirror images of each other so the carbs would face opposite directions. Fore-and-aft, they carbs on each side are mounted in the same orientation. Dan Jones
