I am going to be replacing my stock timing chain at some point this winter. What are some good double roller timing chains out there. The motor will be ocassinally be seeing 6500 RPM'S.Also is there a difference between a true roller and a double roller timing chain? I have heard that e-brock makes a really good true roller timing chain. Anyone have any experience with a good timing chain. Please keep in mind that I do not wan't a gear drive. The cam that I will be using is a 270H comp cam magnum. I would like a timing chain that matches the cam. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Edelbrock does not make their chain kits. They buy them and slap their lable on the box.I like the FRPP M-6268-G302 best. M-6268-B302 next. Cloyes 9-3120 true roller would be 3rd. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! A single roller has only one row of links and teeth. A double roller has two. A true roller the links actually roll over the teeth of the gears. FRPP has several vendors including Borg Warner, CLoyes, and a Australian company which is high quality.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Thanks once again Alex. I definately will be going with a true roller timing chain. Seems to be the best bang for the buck.
