Hey guys, I didn't want to high jack the thread about SBF headers and my question is just a but different so I thought I start a new thread.I have a couple of problems with my headers that are causing me to think about replacements. The biggest is the inability to get them to seal at the head. Add into that the tubes being to small for my AFR 185's as mentioned in the other thread. In the other thread someone mentioned Accufab, and at $500 that's really a pretty good price for what amounts to custom headers. The only problem is they are for Mustangs. I talked to someone at Accufab and he didn't know if they would fit into a '68 Farilane. I would guess there is more room in a Fairlan than a Mustang and the engine compartment is pretty simular. Does anyone know if headers for a '64 to '73 Mustang will work in a 1968 Fairlane? I'd really like to get some headers in the car that don't leak and fit the head. TIA, B-loose

They should fit fine. I use a lot of 88300 Hedman headers and they are very generic. I have installed them on everything from a early Mustang with a 351W to a 69 Galaxie with a 302. SOoooo, I suspect that the Accufab Mustang headers should work just fine on your 68 Fairlane with a 302.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
