Well i plan on finally breaking in the cam in the next few days but i don't have a working tach, is it possible to break in the cam without a tach? (i am desperate)

How about picking up a cheapy tune up tach from the local auto parts store?

or buy one out of a junk yard if you have to but yes its just not as easy or stable but can be done if its a roller cam then there is no need to break it in.
