A friend of mine owns a 1978 Mustang II with a 302 and the factory Duraspark ignition ,It also has an Accel super coil . The problem it has suddenly developed is this :
The car Fires up and runs fine when cold, then after driving for a while it will shut off,and when you try to re-start it the engine won`t fire until you let it sit for a while ...then it starts right up again .

He`s already replaced the coil with a new one (Super coil again ). Also the duraspark control "box" has been replaced. Could the Module inside the distributor cause a problem like this? What do you think ?

I used to have the same symptoms with my Duraspark II. Keeping the box cool is VERY important. This can be hard to do when mounting locations are limited such as in a Mustang engine bay.

Also should be noted that even though the unit is sealed, it does not like moisture either so it must be mounted high, usually where less air flow reaches. I took the "easy" way out and bought the ready-to-run MSD pro-billet distributor, best thing I've done yet

Good luck, be patient
