If so, do they have a nice smooth midrange pull or do that hit hard when they get into the powerband? Anything below 4,000 rpms is worthless for me. Will this thing all ready be pulling by then or will it surge? ------------------ 1982 Ford F100 2wd Shortbox. Powered by a 357 Cleveland w/ closed chamber 4v's. I drove a Ranchero at the finals with a 351c and Funnelweb. It pulled pretty good and ran low 11s. It has an air shifter on its c-4 and he later found that he had fuel delivery issues. I was too busy trying to keep it off the guard rails to critique the power band though. I just kept thinking to keep my right hand on the wheel and get it back into the groove. LOL I didn't get a good enough burnout in the waterbox, and he later found that the Willwood brake calipers were spreading and only making contact on the top edge of the pads, and that his M/C wasn't matched to the slave cylinders. He's got all those bugs worked out of it, but a flat slick kept him from running it last Sunday. Hell of a nice guy though to let me run it down the track at Bakersfield! SteveW
