Hi Guys,I was wondering if any of you have used this company D S S Racing they sell a CNC prepared 302 block for a stroker kit and I was just wondering your thoughts on it, I was looking at getting the Level 10 block along with one of there windage trays. Thanks Guys

Shipping that to england plus the price of it makes a very expensive stock block. The stroker clearancing is easily done with a hand held grinder. The rest is regular machine shop stuff and some like the threaded oil plugs are easily doable at home also.The CNC nonsense is little more than advertising hype. The only advantage is it's maybe quicker to do. Would CNC-baked cookies taste better than ones from a human/manually set oven?

What you say is true, but trying to source a good 302 block over here is like looking for hens teeth! Then finding a machine shop that can do the work of boring and alike is not that easy, that is why I was considering this option, as I could then start assbemling as soon as I get the block.Thanks for your input.
