Right now I'm running a Blue Thunder dual plane intake and was thinking about going to a Holley Strip Dominator. Now with my lower gears, it doesn't sit down low for very long at all. My torque converter is stalling at about 4000 rpms now, so I dont see why I Strip Dominator wouldn't be a big improvement since my usable RPM band would be like 4000-7100. What do you guys think?

I think (my opinion) the Strip Dominator intake works best with a minimum rpm of 5500. You might lose a substantial amount right off the line (down low) since your your convertor only stalls 4000.

But the only way to tell is to try it. If you have a Strip Dominator intake avialable, I would swap them and find out.

I've never tried a Blue Thunder, but I switched from a Torker to a Strip Dominator and I slowed down. My converter was 4900rpm and I shifted at 6500, so I wasn't really in the RPM range of the Strip Dominator. Most of my ET loss was in the first 60 feet. I even swapped to a lower gear to recover some 60', but it didn't come back until I put the Torker back on.
I'm with Kid, you would need more converter to get off the line.
If you have a dominator, try it, but if not I wouldn't spend the money right now until you have the rest of the combo to match it.
I'm now using a stroker and my converter is 5500rpm . The Dominator is working good with this combo.

Might be interested in the BT if you sell it to go with the Dommy.
