Mine was not in that range. It was prob the low end of the spectrum, but was still done right. This was about 4.5 years ago when I did my 69 Mustang. The car: https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/DavidCole.html The car already had an 8pt roll bar (S&W Kit), fuel cell and lines, but was otherwise stock. Parts order from S&W Race Cars: $1100 the best double adjustable ladder bars, Strange coil overs and springs, front ladder bar crossmember, shock crossmember, all brackets, rod ends, hardware, etc., rear end housing brace. $600 Moser 33 spline axles, spool, all bearings. Reused the the rear drum brakes and center section. $2500 labor for backhalf, Jim Rowland Chassis, Jasper, Al. labor included cutting out rear of car, fabricating new rear frame rails, mounting all hardware and ladder bars, fabricate two rear battery mounts, convert 8 pt roll bar to full 10 pt cage, aluminum interior and wheel tubs, lexan side windows, narrow rear end housing ('72 truck 9" housing that was free from a buddy), install rear housing brace. Also included cost of tubing for frame rails and roll cage addition, sheet aluminum and lexan. $300 Weld 15X15 Draglites, new in box off internet $500 New 14X32 slicks Total of $5000 but I sold off the car: $300 Cal-Tracs and Rancho shocks $300 15X8 Draglites and 28X10 slicks $125 9" housing that was in the car (54" width) So, I spent a net of $4275 David Cole ------------------ 557 BBF Powered, alcohol injected rear engine dragster. 4.90 @ 143 1/8 mile. 1.09 60'. Thanks,Nice Mustang!!!! Thats what i want to do to my fairlane but keep the stock interior look, i know i will lose the back seat but, no problem. I need to find someone in my area for the labor end of it. Thanks for the info. That kind of price would keep me in my budget.

Mike......Jerry.......To answer your question.....NO!!.....But thank you for asking..(LOL) The Alston Chassis stuff IS nice.....But if they are gonna use storebought pieces....shoot YOU could do it yourself....and save on the labor.... We build our own frame rails (round tube....mild steel or chrome moly) and do our own rear end narrowing etc.(yes we DO send off for axles...Moser or Strange...) We also do our own, in house "sheet metal" (steel or aluminum) If you are in the southeast....give us a call West/Pegasus Race Cars.....Bainbridge, Ga. 229-243-8867....ask for Tim.......
