Does anyone know who makes the crankshafts and rods that DSS Racing sells in thier stroker kits? I'm looking at buying their 331 kit, with a 3.25 crank and 5.315 rod.

DSS uses several suppliers.
Everything from FRPP to SCAT, Ohio Crankshaft, etc.
I have never seen sub standard quality merchandise in their shop.

For a target of 400-425 hp and 400 ft lbs of torque at the flywheel, on a naturally aspirated/no power-adder car, would you recommend their standard forged 5140 I beam rods, or stepping up to their H 4340 beam or lightened I beam 4340 rods? The mentioned that they use EngineTech tri-metal main bearings, have you heard of them?

The I beam rods will be fine. Your block wont handle enough to need the H beam rods (if its a standard block) Make sure you get the better ARP cap screw bolts for the rods and you will be fine. Im building a similar 400hp 331 (AFR185 heads, roller cam etc...)

Not sure about their bearings, I bought the SCAT stroker kit, and have bought Clevite bearings and Speedpro rings.
