If it ends in a K, it is 427 low rise 4x2 intake manifold. ------------------ 1982 Ford F100 2wd Shortbox. Powered by a 357 Cleveland w/ closed chamber 4v's. Full Roller c-6 trans and 4.86 geared Detroit Locker equipped 9" rear. www.ford-trucks.com/user_gallery/displayalbum.php?&albumid=13034

Those are the only #s on the intake. It is a duel quad. It is supposed to be on a 429, is that possible?

I doubt it would be on a 429. They didn't come out til 68, so that would be c8 at the earliest and I dont know of a factory dual quad setup for a 429-460. Do you have any pics of it? ------------------ 1982 Ford F100 2wd Shortbox. Powered by a 357 Cleveland w/ closed chamber 4v's. There is a "K" behind the C3AE-9426. Therefore, a 427? Is there anyway it would fit on a 429? Owner still says itis a 429. Any input would be appreciated.

It's originally for a 427 FE engine. It will fit 390, certain 427, and 428 engines. It will not fit a 429 or 460 385 series FoMoCo engine. What does he want for it? ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! It is a complete motor that has about 1500 miles on the rebuild. New 12-1 pistons, duel edelbrock carbs, don't know the cam #'s yet, headers etc. Seems to run really good. Needs $1000.00 cash for the motor and accessories. One of those divorce deals. Any suggestions?

Moneymaker, the motor is a 428, the pistons are Arias 12-1, the carbs are 2 600 edelbrocks, headers, 2800 stall converter, it has a comp cam (lift in the 595 to 600 range, haven't gotten the actual cam card yet}set with lifters and springs, heads worked and solid timing gears. Actual miles on the motor are right at 300. It's setting in my shop right now for $1000.00. I guess there are happy endings to some divorces, atlease in this case their loss is my gain. Thanks for your info.

WOW!!!! I'd say you got one heck of a deal on that one! You'd be a fool if you didn't buy it. But hey, good luck to you on that thing and let us know what you do with it.------------------ 1982 Ford F100 2wd Shortbox. Powered by a 357 Cleveland w/ closed chamber 4v's. Going to drop it in a 69 Mach1 when I can find a bell housing, flywheel, headers and toploader.

Swing down here by Wichita with the motor and a saw and I think we can get it to fit in the Falcon.
