This is off a Chrysler site, it involves them and Nascar development but has some fascinating stuff by Charlie Gray on Ford's delopment of the Talledaga and on Richard Petty's switch to Ford in 69.

It goes into disc brake development, why the 63 Fairlane didn't work out as a Stock Car, the 427 Tunnel Port, drivers getting killed because of bad car modifications (Billy Foster), Ford's Indy cars, Mario Andretti and much more.

Seriously long, but if you are interested in the 60's history of Ford and Mopar it's well worth reading through.
