Well I finally picked up a set of AFR 185 for my windsor. They recomend using fel-pro gaskets for the rebuild. The exhaust gasket that they recomend is the fel-pro 1415. The problem with this gasket it covers some of the exhaust ports on the sides. If I match the gasket to the ports it doesn't leave much material between the port side and bolt hole. I'm afraid that this will cause a leak sooner or later. Is there an exhaust gasket that will work better with these heads. The exhaust port measure 1.330 wide by 1.370 high. Summit sells a set made by Percy that has round holes would these be any better? I'm gathering all my parts for this winter tear down.------------------ 1968 coupe 351W, Bored.030,Stock Crank, Stock Rods,Decked,KB Hyper. flat top pistons.
