Folks, In starting the build of my 347, the guy doing my engine put my edlebrock performer rpm heads on the flow bench (at 28 inches). Thought I'd post the numbers: Lift Intake Exhaust .100 - 58 50 .200 - 118 105 .300 - 174 144 .400 - 217 166 .500 - 244 178 .600 - 249 183 The intake is a little low on .100 - .300 lift, and right on the money at .400 - .600 with what edelbrock says they will do, the exhaust is a little better. Note - valves are 1.90/1.60 Still deciding on cam and rotating assembly.

Out of curiousity, how come you're going with 1.90's with a 347? I figured you'd of gone for 2.02's Maybe a dumb question, just a little curious. Thanks, Luke

These are my old heads off of my current 289, which I bought originally with 1.90s. The 2.02s are good for only about 3 - 6 cfm more, at the higher lifts, this according to both edelbrock and my engine guy. Runner size and configuration are both more effective in adding flow than valve size, from what I understand.

I have yet to decide between the AFR 165 and 185 heads for my 331. Like with anything you need to decide whether you want power/revs or low end torque. ------------------ '68 coupe, '66 289 C code engine, edel 600cfm carb, performer intake, dual exhaust http://www.geocities.com/ottouk_77/68mustang.htm
