What did you change from the previous dyno run? Is that with nitrous or not? I hope the weather holds for you at the track! I honostly think it will dip in the tens. Good luck!

If I'm not mistaken, it's also a 4-speed car.... and that horsepower is without nitrous. The car also looks STONE STOCK. Maybe he'll post a picture... [edit] There are a couple pictures of his car in the Member's Pics at the bottom of this page. No engine shots, but it looks stock as well. It's a VERY bestly sleeper. It's a heavy hitter of a REAL, 4-speed STREET car! ------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367 http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-display.cgi?220 [This message has been edited by n2oMike (edited 10-20-2004).]

Here's a pic of his engine... He posted it in the http://www.fordfe.com forum. He hit a small 125hp hit of nitrous (very rich at around 9.2 air/fuel ratio) and made 592hp at 5200 rpm. Torque is up over 623. It will EASILY go past 600 with tuning. I really like his car! ------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367 http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-display.cgi?220 [This message has been edited by n2oMike (edited 10-20-2004).]

The 529 horse was without Nitrous. It was about 600 rear wheel horse with the Nitrous and about 620 torque. It is a 4 speed car. Last time out it ran a 1.60 60 foot but I haven't run through the quarter with the new combination yet. The pro-systems carb has made the most dramatic difference. If you're in Mt. Pleasant give me a call and you can come by to check it out. 319-385-4159 is my work number. Steve

568 rear torque and a 4spd that car most be a blast on the street.

Steve, AWESOME CAR!! Tell us more about your combo - 1) Are you using an OEM Toploader or an aftermarket manual trans? 2) What clutch are you using with it? 3) What chassis mods have you done; Cal-Trac bars, frame connectors, roll bar? 4) What rear tires & pressure do you run at the track? 5) What rpm do you launch at? Thanks for sharing! Ryan

1. I am using a David Kee prepared toploader with his road race upgrade2. I run a centerforce clutch. 3. I have subframe connectors, 90/10 front shocks, rancho adjustable rear shocks, CE slide-a-links. The front was lowered 1" by cutting the spring. Last time out I had a 1.60 60 foot. 4. At the track I run a 9" M&H slick. The best tire pressure I've run with my combo was about 13 1/2 pounds. I probably need to do some more experimenting with that. 5. I generally launch between 4000 and 5000 rpm. Power comes in anywhere above 3300 rpm. I shift just above 6200 rpm with a 6600 rpm limiter
