Very surprised to hear this. I hope the new president of IHRA continues growing the sport and not settling for what has already been accomplished. I wonder if we're in for any class changes or overhauls?

Good for him. I've kind of been out of racing a few years, but when he ran Norwalk Raceway Park, he was excellent! He handled the little guy the same as the big gun. Big shoes to fill I would believe for his successor. But here is an idea, we need an all stick shift bracket class!!!!!!!!!

Catmando, If you were to re locate to the NorthWest, you could always run in our "stickshift bracket" class! Check it out at: www.bcsupershifter.com

Hey Rory,

YOUR B.C.S.S. SITE IS AWESOME!
NICE SHOT (on pg #5) OF YOUR FAIRMONT LAUNCHING!

-- Looks like that slick fills most of your wheelwell - can you tear paper between it and the fender lip?!

I wish there were enough stick-pullers around these parts to organize a group like that!

Sorry to read about your clutch explosion at the final race! BETTER LUCK NEXT YEAR!

Later,,, Ryan

Rory, that is a real nice Fairblock! I say that because square cars are awesome! That is a real neat class. I would love to see something like that at Norwalk and many other tracks. Im building a bracket car now that will have an auto, but only out of neccesity. I've never understood why track owners dont push for stick classes, they are a favorite of fans and racers alike to watch!! Definately beats watching 2 cookie cutter rails with no launch powerglides going down track!
