Went to a big swap meet and picked up a 4777-3 650 double pumper for the 306. Got it for $100, but it's missing the secondary shooter and the check valve, does it use the check needle or does it use a ball under the squirter? This also has the long vent baffles, and they are pinned, so I'm guessing they are factory, correct? Do they use the long baffle in the secondary side to? This one has it. This one doesn't have a powervalve in the back nor is it drilled, so I'm guessing that it isn't suppposed ot have one is it? One last question, when I open the throttle to WOT, the secondaries don't open quite all the way, though it is very close, is this right, or should they come completely open like the primaries? They are at about a 80 degree angle to the baseplate, instead of 90. Also picked up a set of ford 3.50 gears that are as mint as it gets for $40, might just get that rear done yet this year, we'll see!

There should be a needle valve under the squirter just like in the primary shooter. The secondaries should open up 90 degrees just like the primaries. You should be able to remove the little linkage rod and bent it a just a tad more to get it to open strait up. it doesn't take much.
