Thanks, I'd like to meet you also. Have you been out to SRP this summer? I've probably run there about 5 or 6 times this year. They'll have the reg. Sat. night drags and the Deer park reuniun on Sunday this weekend, and I'm planning on racing Sunday. Sorry to hear about your divorce.

That's AWESOME!!Much nicer than what I did, but you'll get the same results. I'm proud of you! Get that FE pulling the front wheels off the ground. Cool..... SteveW

Nice work your notched shock towers came out great too. I could use that on my 65.------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics [This message has been edited by Fastymz (edited 09-14-2004).]

XR7 What are the front shocks that you are using?------------------ 1968 coupe 351W, Bored.030,Stock Crank, Stock Rods,Decked,KB Hyper. flat top pistons. Bullet Cam 231/[email protected]/.541 lift,Stock heads,RPM Air Gap,Holley 670 Street Avenger,MSD Ignition,C4 Trans.,9" rear with 4.11 posi. best time 12.381 @ 105.04 mph in the 1/4

They are Carrera 90/10 that I bought through M&M from Calvert Racing. They had the 3/8 stud on top but also came with a adapter plate and hardware for the early 2 bolt top mount which I used before I changed the mount. They are a true 90/10 and work great, the bottom mount is welded on better than the CE adjustable shocks that some have broke.

im about to start replacing my shock towers and all the advice i can get is appreiciated im inexperianced with this kind of work. i love those mounts.
