AFR 185's or Edelbrock rpm with the same sized valves??

i've heard the complete afr's arn't great as some of the parts are sub-par, how are the edelbrock completes?

i have a distributor price list for afrs, not sure why i got it, but i got it with a catalog of the afr parts, anyone know how much they actually go for? the 1388 specifically

I wouldnt trust any head out the box from elebrock or afr. You could get the elebrocks bare and have a machine shop build them but the afrs for some reason use a special spec valve that you can only get from them. There's nothing worse then pulling your new afr's or vicJr's out the box only to see daylight past the valve seats. I personaly like the tfs street heats when done up right.

I like the twisted wedge myself, I've been running them on my 351 for 5 years or so and ford performance soulutions still sells them for 995.00, they make more power than the edelbrocks and very close to the afr185's and much cheaper.
