Do you need to do anything with the 4 wire plug that used to go to the old alternator when installing the new. Do you just wire the "one" wire to the positive of the battery? My instructions were missing when I receieved the alternator.

I just discounted my voltage reg, taped up the wires. Ran a large wire from the alt to the positive battery post thats it.
