Pulled the cable back out and the plastic nipple on the end of the speedo cable gear has broken off in the tranny. I wasn't able to fish the small piece out through the hole in the tranny. What will happen if I leave it? Should I pull the tranny and figure out how to get it out? thanks, don IP: Logged

Just unbolt the tail housing from the case and the piece should be in there. It's not hard at all.
