Hi Scoop! The Fluidyne is 3 1/2 inches thick, so you may have to use a shorter fan spacer. Also less clearance with a electric fan.

The core is 3.5" thick ? I use the black magic fan which is 4" thick. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

I don't think you can. I had the Black Magic fan and it was too deep.(I also have a 351W in a 66) Now I have an 1100 cfm fan, which I was worried about, but NO overheating at all.(the new fan is about 2.5 inches thick).

What kind of diffence in temp did you see with the radiator and what did you run before. Do you drive the car in traffic in the summer etc. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

It is a direct fit mounting wise. I had a standard 3 core that came with the car and really didn't know what kind of shape it was in internally, so I bought the Fluidyne. Also, both hoses are on the passenger side. I have driven the car in 100 degree temps with no problems.

What is the highest temp you've see with the Fluidyne radiator ? I've seen 205 this summer with a new 3+ row and a 180 stat. I'm hoping the new one will keep it at 180 all the time. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

I use a 180 degree thermostat and it doesn't go above that. I'm in the San Fernando Valley in California, and as you may know, it gets very hot here. I'm really impressed with it! I'd be more impressed with your deal though. I had to pay full price.

Thanks that helps a lot. It's almost a done deal I'll know for sure by friday. I have a manufacture I see in Burbank once a year. I know it gets hot there. I hate the idea of getting ride of the black magic fan too. ------------------ SCOOPoddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. Your very welcome! By the way, I did a 9 inch gear search here and noticed you asked about T.C. a while back. He used to be in Bishop,Ca. where I used to live and set up my gears. I would highly recommend him for set up and also OEM axles. He's also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
