Well, got the 347 fired up for the first time. Started on the first touch of the key...I don't know if that's a bad or good omen!

Sounds pretty damn TUFF! Ran it for 20 minutes to break in the cam and shut 'er down for the night. I'm hoping I didn't hurt anything when it first fired and I accidentally zinged it to around 4000 or so with only the outer valve springs on.

So tomorrow night I'll put the inner springs on, and commence to get her ready for this weekend, then the following weekend it's off to Maple Grove for the PRO Edelbrock race. Those boys in Mean Street are running 10.90's now NA with a .485 cam and 3200lbs. If I can run low 11's I'll be happy
