I am installing a motorcraft 4300 carb with a heat assist choke on a stock 1967 Mustang gt 390. My problem, I am unable to locate the area that the tube is to be placed in the intake. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

WELCOME to the forum The tube for a heat assisted choke goes into a small hole on the exhaust manifold, not the intake. Sometimes these can be hard to spot because they are covered with rust from the rest of the manifold. You may have to wire brush the top to find a little bit of tube sticking up. If it can't be extracted, and it usually can't, you may want to take a small drill bit and re-open the hole for the tube to be inserted. By the way, the hole does not go thru to the exhaust passage. Is this carb the right application for my motor? Was a holley original on the car?
