I keep looking at my partial 393 kit in my garage, I have a rerfectly running 351w in my 67 convert forged pistons,TW heads hyd rolller cam, 1 3/4 try y's maybe 12-15k on the motor, when I factor in new custom ground cam ,porting heads, machine work and all the other stuff and finding the time to pull the motor, I realized why not just bolt on a blower? I'm making 360-380hp right now so I'm sure I can get 500 hp with a blower maybe more? Thats what I was attempting with the 393. But then I thought a 393 with a blower....IM SO CONFUSED!

my compression right now was 9.1.1 with my old c90e heads, I put on the TW's and added 1 or 2 cc so I figure 8.8-9.1, my stroker would work out to about 9.3-9.5 with the head mods, it depends if I deck the block.

You can blow either of those engines. Just make sure the bottom end is up to the extra cylinder pressure. Does your stroker kit have a forged crank, forged pistons and H-beam rods?SteveW
