My car has been a little slow all year so far and I've been fighting little gremlins in the fuel system primarily.

Friday at Cordova it ran 10.27, 10.21 and 10.13 in time runs. I'm not sure I buy the 10.13 now as the 60 foot went from 1.42 the pass before to 1.34 that pass. Timing system??

Anyway, I digress.

The first round of eliminations the motor never got on the 2 step and almost quit when the brake released. Then it took off. By then the 8 second digger I drew was long gone so I let it shift and lifted. 60 foot time was 2.09.

On the way back down the return road the car acted like the brakes were on now and then. Just slow down like something was binding up. One time I thought it was going to stop moving.

So, I'm thinking either the convertor is broke or the transmission. Its a Powerslide, BTW

Any other opinions?
