I am changing to solid roller from solid flat tappet. Will I notice any or much difference with a solid roller with similar spec to my solid flat?

My experiance, when I hurt my solid roller in my racecar and had to go to a solid flat tappet cam with very similar specs, the car ran exactly the same; same 60', same half track, same ET, same mph. The only real difference was the solid flat tappet cam was happier idling about 200 rpm higher (that and it was about 1/3 the cost.)FYI, the solid roller was 264/272 dur @ .050, .650/.605 lift, 106 lsa; and the flat tappet was 266/277 @ .050, .625/.623 lift, 107 lsa.
