Well, The Money Pit is road worthy now, but still has a lot of work before it makes it to the strip. Here is a picture taken this weekend. I have removed so much weight, I need to cut the Eibach lowering springs that are on it now. It has more fender gap now, than when stock.

Other shots taken this past weekend:

I should have it track ready by September.

393BIRD, nice photo lay-out of great mods. Are you into road racing? It looks low and lean. Have you timed it in the 1/4 yet? Charlie

Bruce,
Looks good, alot of thought and time has went into the car already. I got a 89 SC sitting in my driveway, hasn't moved in 5 years, want another project

A couple of our Music City Mustang Club members live in Clarksville, both have 69 Mustangs. One is a beautiful Red Pro streeter 460, the other is a black original 428CJ. If you know either of them, we are having a show in September, pack up the bird and show it off.

Good looking Carb, Marvin wants me to try an 850-950 on my 347. They have a new line of billet spacers, worked out good on mine.

That car is so it's a real sleeper too. I'd love to be when the first Vett try's to pass you.

Thanks guys.... It is only a weekend play car now, but plan on a little more towards strip use next year.

Haven't met those Mustang guys yet. I did see a BAD 65/66 one on the road last week with a roots type blower and carbs up through the hood. What a Beast!

I took it out on I24 at last for some shake down miles, and was very happy with everything, except for how fast the gas gauge drops...

I hope to have it show/strip ready some time Sept/Oct time frame.

Nice car, it's funny how often I see posts complaining about how high a car sits after installing somebodies "lowering" or "high performance" or "Racing" coil springs. I think I will never buy any of them.

Maybe the car is begging for bigger tires.

The Eibach springs lowered it perfect 2 years ago when I put them in. I have removed 4-500 lbs during this project, and it raised back up to stock, or higher heigth now. It will look a lot better when I cut 1 or 2 coils off it. I am waiting on a e mail back about som weight transfer springs from Moroso, and may replace the fronts if they have any that will fit.
