Scoop, Before I Pro/Streeted my II I had run the M/T Indy G-60s and I really liked the firestone firehawk's... When they first cameout they were a stickey tire...They make a Firehawk Indy 500 215-60-14

Thanks John the Firestone 500 have a long tread life so I'm sure how much better traction they will be from the BFG's I have now.

I have the BFG Drag radials. They work pretty well, though I'm at their limit of adhesion with my 289. They work well on the street, at least in dry weather. Not sure how many miles you can expect from them though, I drive mine very little so the tires are still in pretty good shape.
