Since I`ve been mainly racing my 85 Mustang "Stocker" this season, the 428 powered Fairmont has been gathering dust so far. Last weekend I decided to "blow out the cobwebs", & run the Fairmont for the first time this year. A local drag race website owner wanted to try shooting some in car video footage, & asked if I`d be interested. I agreed, and quite frankly, I thought it turned out pretty decent. The video is located near the end of the Sunday July 11th post, the first video is of a Lenco equipped 7 second Chevy Berretta, my pass is right afterwards. Oh yeah, crank up the sound!!  ------------------

Stewart, I`m dumping the clutch at 6200 RPM. I`d like to try a bit higher, but that 428 hasen`t been freshened up for 6 years, and I don`t wanna push my luck!!------------------

Rory,,SWEET.. For such a mild manored guy,, you sure drive a bad ass machine.. Did anyone get the run from the outside of the car.. It would be neet to see them back to back.. ------------------
