Right now in my car the engine seems to angle back and down towards the firewall, is there anyway i can level the engine out, possible by modifying the transmission mount?(Lifting tail of transmission farther up to level it out)

What do you guys think?

TC,

Why do you want to mess with the factory engine angle? If you really do, you need to look at the driveshaft angle from the tranny to the rear pinion. It sould point to the pinion at about 1/2 degree off. Not perfectly straight. Then the pinion angle should be 2-5 degrees lower than the trannies output shaft at normal ride height, depending on what kind of rear suspension you'll be using. If you need more info, let me know,

So its normal for the engine to be tilted towards the firewall? (I just though the engine should be level)

What I'd do:

Go to Sears and buy a angle finder. Take off your front pulley and place the angle finder on the center of the balancer. Note your findings. Next remove the driveshaft and place the angle finder on the yoke of the center section. Record that and post thoses figures. Changing engine angle also affect pinion angle or Traction.
