I have noticed that I almost never see anyone mention Crane cams on this or other websites. Why is this? Are they losing the magazine propaganda wars?

Dunno They're usually the first choice for me. I've had my best luck with their tech line.

They don't give sportsman racers product and support like Comp does. They only feed the Pro racers like WJ and most of the fuel queers. We sell and use their products. I use their Pro Series roller lifters exclusivly. I pay for ALL of them. Comp does provide us (and many class racers) with cams and 24-7 "pro" tech service.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Are you saying that Crane does not support the Bracket racers? Is this a contingency thing?

I've used Crane in the past and have had good luck with them. I went with an Isky this time because they were the only one with a solid cam that fit my needs off the shelf. I had problems with my first Isky but they took care of it. HTH, B-loose

Both contingency and product support. They used to be one of the best! This year they dropped rockers and lifters from their contingency program. All they pay for is camshaft now.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
