In drag racing a cleveland, does anyone know the limitations (RPM-wise), say using stock rods that have been prepped, say as opposed to aluminum rods, and then of course H-beam rods & carillo-type billet rods. I have heard 7000 RPM w/stock stroke and lower with added stroke. Thanks for any info, Brian

Well prepped forged OE rods with good bolts can stand 8k RPM as long as you don't have too heavy a piston.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
