I recently had ladder bars installed on my 70 mustang and they were set up in the middle hole(5 holes in total). The car definately reacts better off the launch with the power directed straight ahead off the launch rather than a big squat and one side of the rear dipping down. I still get a small amount of spin when the track conditions start to deteriorate as the day goes on. Would I be better off moving the bars up one spot for a harder hit and possibly better transfer? Most cars at the track I noticed had the ladder bars parallel to the ground where as mine are a little lower at the front and one spot up would level them off. Thanks, I'm new to ladder bars but so far I really like them compared to traction bars.------------------ 351c 4v clsd heads 60'1.580 1/8 [email protected] 1/4 [email protected]

The lower you move the bars (front hole, the harder the hook.MM's are in the lowest hole. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! Just for some more info, I have 90/10's in the front and adjustable Rancho 9000's in the rear set at the middle setting #5. My tires are Hoosier 28x10x15 slicks. So, let me get this right the lower the hole at the front the better traction but softer hit on the tires. Thanks for your patience as I said I'm new to ladder bars.[This message has been edited by 70coupe (edited 06-21-2004).]
