Is there any way I can check the accuracy of a tachometer? Like, say, with a multimeter or something? I have a little 2 5/8" Equis tach in my '66, and I just want to make sure it's reading accurately.

Thanks!

Stop off at a chain parts store or shop that has a portable tach and dwell meter or timing light with a tach read out for a comparison.
