I have used Simple Green, and Mothers magwheel/alum polish.------------------

Are we talking wheels that are highly noticeable or a part/piece in the engine compartment not receiving direct sunlight?Depends on that for what I would use; You can use something a little more abrasive if you do not have to worry about the blemishes "direct sunlight" will reveal?. Best o' Luck

Any good wheel polish that turns black works great on radiators.  ------------------
