How do you get water spots off of polished aluminum?

I have used Simple Green, and Mothers magwheel/alum polish.------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

Are we talking wheels that are highly noticeable or a part/piece in the engine compartment not receiving direct sunlight?Depends on that for what I would use; You can use something a little more abrasive if you do not have to worry about the blemishes "direct sunlight" will reveal?.
