I was wondering if any of the guys involved in racing or open track events has had any experience with the Simpson head and neck restaint system? I'm considering the device as insurance against anything bad happening in the neck area as I have some issues in that area. The cost for the Hans device is about 3 times that of the Simpson. Without knowing what kind of racing your going to do. I didnt see where that was NHRA approved. And I know acouple tracks here are big on the neck collar you wear. No collar no racing. I'm not impressed with the way simpsons deal looks. It looks like a jump harness tied to your helmet. If your worried about neck injuries save the extra $300.00 amd go with the Hans Device. Seems like I saw them for $750.00 in the national dragster.
