I have a 92 5.0 Vert and want to change the heads. I now have Ported E7s and a GT 40 intake on there and they are OK but I am sure I can get a ton more out of an aftermarket set of heads, fuel and cam. The car runs about High 13s now heavy. There are TONS of head choices out there now and I just dont know which ones to buy. There is everything from Dart and Roush irons and TFS, Eded, SVO, AFR etc. My plan is to take the car to the Track but I still want to be able to take a 1500 mi. trip like I can now. I have read a couple of books but they are kind of old and the heads out now I cant find much on. Do you think I may just want to upgrade to GT 40 or GT 40 Ps? Please help because I am kind of lost and I know Alex disagrees with what a lot of Magazines say. We all know they just want to sell product and I would like to hear some proven combos that actually work well. Thanks a lot!!

I like the edelbrock stuff, made in the good old USA too. Lots of 5.0 guys running strong on AFR's and TFS heads too, just be sure to match the cam and intake to the heads and you'll see a big difference. SteveW

Does anybody have any experience with GT 40Y alumimuns or Roush 200 Irons?
