i have a 70 mach1 with a cleveland and a c6. The motor is pretty well built with 4 core radiator, intake, cam, headers, carb...etc and i have a custom 3000 stall converter that i will be installing.. will i need a trans cooler and if so what size will i need?thanks

The B&M super cooler or the like, will be plenty for you. I'd use a trans cooler for sure and bypass the radiator altogether. Yep,A seperate cooler and the bigger the better! Transmission like running cool. SteveW

I have a fairly new setup with a 393 ande a 3500 RPM converter. It is street driven with a single 18,000 gvw B&M cooler I had left over from a prior project. I have been watching the watch the trans temp, and see that it goes up too high with only normal driving. Yesterday I ordered "2" new 24,000 gvw B&M. I will mount them side by side. Since I have a good over sized radiator, and Mark VIII fan, it should work out fine.Below is the single 18,000. ------------------ 1993 Tbird 393 stroker, 3500 RPM converter http://www.qsl.net/wd4ngb/birdwork.htm
