i putting a new shifter in my mustang ii,is there any differance between the b&m pro shifter and the hurst pro ratchet.as far has installing them i don;t have much room were it hooks to the trans. thanks------------------ www.ronsmustangii.net

Ronnie,They are both cable operated and I doubt there is much difference in how they attach to the tranny. SteveW

Ronnie,the proshifter tells you to adjust the cable with the trans in 1st(low) gear...is that the way you did it? I just put a b&m proshifter in my mustangII.

Hi, i just want to wish you a lot of luck..i just installed a B&M Hammer in my Mustang i had to hook it up to a FMX...took me 4 hours to adjust....

on the floor,..my car doesn't have a console..it's kinda in the original floor position,..but had to put it 2" to the rear because that there's a support beam in the floor which was causing the selectorcable coming out of the shifter to be in such of an angle it wouldn't shift properly...good luck Ben
