a little while ago i asked about a sqeaky 351W and a rattling 460bbf.first the 351W, it turn out that the valves where to tight,..adjusted that , but after a good 60miles and a dynorun, it started sqeaking again... further investigation, led us to cil no3 to the exhaust valve, it was a bent pushrod rubbing against the head/guideplate.. New rods are on the way..
the 460...after pulling both valvecovers, checking valveclearence /pushrods and springs, nothing found...putted everything back together,..after another testdrive we've hitted a bump in the road (the nose/HEADERS is only 3 inches from the ground) and the sound became louder,..stopped and checked it...it was comming from the hooker headers,..he has the super comp which hit the ground if the bumps are to deep..
so that's solved also....
