I've always been a fan of the SBF and the BBF as well for the last few years. I don't own a 4.6/5.4 modular V-8. But, if I did, I think I would have to make it look like this:

Not cheap, but they have Vic Jr style intakes and Boss 9 flavor Hemi valve covers.

Good looking modular motor,I've read they can make lots of power. Not sure why they don't do it for me. I guess I just like old school hot rod stuff.

Ron,

My boss bought a new Mach1. Beautiful blue color, and he plans to hot-rod it. It's 300+ h.p. now and he's planning on installing a puffer. You and I can't afford to hot-rod one of these. Just as well 'cause the old tech still kicks butt.

Yeah the new Mach1's and the SC Cobra's are awesome cars. A credit to the Ford name plate. Just not in my budget

That intake is very cool... perfect for a neanderthal like me to put a 4 barrel Holley carb on a new Mach 1 ... now if they just made 17" bias ply tires to fit it.

You should see some of those mod motors on the turbo. I couldn't believe my eyes....6.70's on 10.5"s not too bad for the blue oval guys
