How the hell do you get the cable to fit in the
lug? Odd thing is I have a 2/0 lug laying around and its bigger and of course the 1/0 cable fits in it fine. I will be soldering these and theres no way I'll be able to squeeze the cable in the lug. Any ideas? What am I missing. Can I use the 2/0 ones?
The lug package is labeled #1/0.

Not sure about these screw on terminls that you bought. But if you can solder the cables into the 2/0's that should be fine.

Yeah, I did buy the screw on ones, kinda screwy
(pun intended) But I did buy solder/crimp style
copper lugs cause i needed some more since i'm moving the solenoid to the trunk.
I figured soldering was better and seemed easy enough. I'll try the 2/0 ones if you think thats ok. Just weird to me that its bigger the the 1/0 lugs.

thanks a bunch

Wire sizes goes something like this (from small to large).....

16
14
12
10
8
6
4
2
1/0 (0)
2/0 (00)
3/0 (000)
4/0 (0000)

There also MCM cabling also....and then you add in the type of conductor such as solid, stranded (coarse and fine), the type of insulating colvering that adds lettering to the cable designation.
