Does it matter if the motor came out of a car or truck? Will I have to change things to make a truck motor work? Its an 83 or 84 (E3 date code). Thanks

It's a 28 oz imbalance engine, so it'll work with older 289/302 flexplate or flywheel. You'll probably need a new oil pan, depending again on what you're putting it into. Like Mikey said,

Its going into a 67 Mustang, I'm more worried about it bolting up to my tranny a C-4.

Don't worry about that. It'll bolt right up to your C-4 and use the same flex plate and torque converter too.
It uses a different oilpan (front sump 351w) and it's deck height is taller but otherwise it's identical.
