Depending on your climate, I'd say either straight 30W or 40W. I run the 30W, may be going to Racing #21 before long ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html

Alex,,How about my new 331 Stroker.. I want to put Royal Purple in it now that I have apporximately 500 breakin miles on it.. Why don't you email me the price and I'll have you ship some out to me.. Q: Should I use an Oil Additive with Royal Purple.. I always use an Oil Additive called IXL.. It's one of those "You Can't Prove it Does or Dosen't Work" additives.. I have been using it for over 10 years have gotten excellent wear & performance out of my vehicle engines.. Thrashing a cast iron distributor gear in my new 302 HO (less than 1 hour run time) which may have contributed to early failure,, doesn't count.. Let me know..

Hi Guys, Thanks for the info. I think I will go with the multi-grade, as we have a wide temperature changes over here from season to season.

Yeah we had snow on the ground yesterday morn. But the cool weather was great for the motor break in. Over cast and low 50's at the time. ------------------ SCOOP oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe,351w,C4,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics
